A Bowl of Ice

Like the blip of 28 March, this picture is taken through a plate of ice. Does it work? I really can't make up my mind, which is unusual for me.
The forest is a little too indistinct for my liking but I love the (totally unexpected) rainbow colours. They come from the bubbles of air in the ice.
There are two extras. The first is a macro showing the ice from very close up; what the main blip would have been if I'd focussed on the ice rather than the forest.
The second extra shows the bowl of ice. The ice has formed in a wide bucket of melt water, a disc on the top and then freezing slowly down the sides. It was about -5°C last night. I have taken it out of the bucket and turned it over to create the "bowl".
