Onion Beds

Tony has been in the allotment today - more planting, this time the onion beds.  There is blossom on the plum tree and we have our first frogspawn in the pond - hooray!  I can report that the forced rhubarb is delicious on my morning porridge! 

The remains of the day have been spent in:  weeding a border; pruning the buddleia; putting the washing in and out between the showers; mounting photos on card; blipping the more stupid of the squirrels trying to free peanuts from its feeder; finishing reading 'The Year of the Runaways' and beginning reading 'The Plot' and cooking lasagne for tea.
