Collared Love!

After the Hyggelig of yesterday, I was back down to earth first thing, scrubbing the tricky corners of the shower with an old toothbrush!

However, bathroom done, the sunny day beckoned so I have been in and out of the kitchen door finding reasons to enjoy the blue sky and the garden.  It has been a good day for washing and drying and weeding and pruning.  Tony drove to Todmorden to stock up on his magic compost so there was much heaving and hefting of sacks down to the allotment.  We managed to catch up with Becky on Skype over lunch - she was just having her breakfast before heading out to work!

I managed to make time to capture birds in the elder tree.  They are not visiting as frequently or going through the food as quickly now that there are other sources of food out there, but the collared doves have become something of a fixture.

Two fruit cakes done and chicken pasta for tea.  Time for a bath and a glass of that Shiraz in time for Broadchurch at nine!
