At the Supermarket

This morning we went to the first Bellingham Music Club performance of the 2012-13 season. Three women played and they were wonderful. It was an interesting combination of instruments: flute, bassoon and viola. They played music from Bach to the present. Really interesting pieces. We enjoyed ourselves very much.

Then we went off to Mikanos Restaurant for a yummy Greek lunch. There were so many of us that we had to add more tables. Where we sit the structure of the building concentrates all the noise so we were a boisterous group. All happy noise as we talked and ate delicious food.

After lunch we headed off to do some shopping. We went to Costco, Rite Aid and Haggen's. This photo is the shopping carts outside Haggen's. The inside is a bit chaotic at the moment as they are doing some remodeling. We still love shopping there. Here is the shopping cart photo in large.

When we got home we met Nenita and John who were in the midst of cleaning our house. They are neighbors and now friends who I once talked to and discovered that Nenita did cleaning for a living. I asked if she was interested in private cleaning and she was. So now the two of them come once every two weeks to clean our house. It is lovely to have a fresh clean house. Especially since I'm hosting my book group on Friday.

Hope you are all having a good day today.
