…………………..……to Explode

This is a glimpse inside an open seedpod on the swan plant. It’s wonderful seeing how skilfully nature holds the seeds and how artistic they look before the ‘thistledown’ expands and carries them on their way.

Recently, I blipped one of these seedpods in full explosion mode with seeds and ‘thistledown’ spilling out in a glistening tangled mess.

Many thanks for the comments, stars and hearts for my previous blip. With the cold rain over the last couple of days the clusters have completely ‘melted’ and disappeared.
