Fungi........

.......Nest
 
Known as the Bird’s Nest Fungi this nest is incredibly tiny and quite amazing.
 
Last June I added a photo to my blip journal showing a cluster of these wee nests and to give an idea of how small they were I measured the three ‘nests’ across the front and they fitted within 1cm - the individual ‘nest’ on the left measured less than 4mm.

What you see in the photo is actually two halves which form a whole and not one half showing as a reflection – only a very faint outline can be seen reflected on the glass
