17 minutes

I love Spring. I love the return of lighter evenings and longer days. I love the re-emergence of bulbs and fresh shoots and leaves. I love the sound of nature waking up.

Still feeling rubbish after another night coughing, I worked at the computer again this morning before popping into Welwyn Garden City for an optician's appointment. There, I was impressed by the municipal flower displays, but didn't really feel I'd made my blip.

Luckily Peter came home from London in time for us to stroll gently into Panshanger Park. The evening light caught the edge of the woodland (extra) before dipping lower and turning the Osprey Lake golden, just 17 minutes later. Both shots are straight out of the camera. Blip done.
