First Snow of the Season on Mt Peel

The rains gave way to sun today, and at last I was able to cross the stream.

When I got to the ford this morning the grader driver was already in the stream, levelling out the gravel and making the approaches better. After a bit of fairly hefty puddle jumping I was away.

Later in the afternoon I headed into Geraldine and on my way back stopped to take this shot of the first snow of the season on the summit of Mt Peel. The Old Man, Mt Somers and Mt Hutt ranges were also topped with a fresh coating of the white stuff too. I bet the skiers are happy....
