Giant cowslip (Primula veris)

Busy day today. Started a load of laundry before breakfast, and then hung it out to dry in the glorious sun after breakfast. I then replaced a solar powered light with a new one, so we can get in and out without injury. I then hung out a second load of laundry.

After lunch we went to Little Meadow to spend a few hours doing some maintenance, where this picture of a cowslip (Primula veris) was photographed. The first extra was also blipped from there, it's a crab apple planted by the first chair of the Biodiversity Society.

We then planed a few flowers but not the cowslips as we decided that there were plenty in our Meadow already, so instead we took them across the village to the Community Orchard and planted them there instead. The fruit blossom pictures were take then, where the pear was plastered in blossom, though many of the apples were still asleep.

Now it is time for a cup of tea and a rest!
