Happiness is ....

We all slept in after last night. Depending on who you were - too much beer, too much running around and playing, too much being passed around, too much having to pacify and too many years.

This meant that there was a fail on the plan to leave for the Clinic at TTDI at 7.30 so it was 9 before we got there. Luckily there was a parking space and despite the fact they were 2 staff down we were out by 10. The nurse remembers me. Amelia passed, but cried a lot when she got her Hep B shot. Then it was off for a late breakfast of Nasi Lemak Campur.

Home to take out the trousers I took in a couple of visits ago (!) which involved a fight with the machine and then spend an hour in the pool with Olivia. She was being very demanding. Also spent sine time catching up on yesterday's commemorations of the Battle of Arras. #3son had sent me a photo of the Beating of the Retreat at the Castle. I hope the French cousins were at the one in the Place des Heros. My grandfather won is MM at the Battle of Arras. At 5 the kids went next door, Olivia was very happy, and we got 'glammed up' for our night out.

Dinner at Chinoz and then a great concert from Ladysmith Black Mambazo. Definitely feel good music. Home just 11 to pick up Amelia, who was sound asleep. It was to have been able to treat the new parents to a night out.
