Sunny blossom

In a blue, blue sky. This is one of the espaliered fruit trees, trained to grow against the south--facing wall. This maximises the sunshine and takes full advantage of the warmth absorbed by the bricks of the wall. 

We had both our breaks outside and very much enjoyed the sunshine. I saw my first butterfly of the year, a peacock - that must mean it's going to be a fantastic summer!
