Do I Look Good?

This blue tit has been seen regularly around the car park at work, spending large amounts of time admiring itself in the wing mirrors of cars.  I've been waiting an opportunity to capture it on camera and almost got him yesterday when he flew across to my driver's door mirror just as I pulled up.  Unfortunately, my movement startled him before I could bring up the phone to take a shot.

I noticed him again today, and this time I had the opportunity to use a telephoto lens.  Even then it was wary and didn't allow me to get too close.  He was probably keeping an eye on me through the mirror even in this shot.

I just wondered what had caused it to spend so much time looking in the mirror at its reflection.
