Brothers

They came, they saw, they conquered.......not the Romans, but the Shipley grandsons.
It is amazing how much noise and energy two wee boys of 8 and 6 can muster on 2 tablespoons of soup, three quarters of a wrap (or a Mexican burrito, as corrected by my friend Wildwood) and the head of a chocolate rabbit.
The noise level was such that His Lordship retreated behind The Door the minute lunch was over only to appear at intervals when the noise level died down to a respectable number of decibels.

With lunch as such over, there was a protracted game of tig and wrestling outside in the garden, fortunately before the rain arrived.
The house shuddered to a silent stillness when they left to travel through to Glasgow and make merry with their cousins Nina and Ewan.

They are such lovely wee boys, polite, chatty and entertaining and a pleasure to have around even if there was not much quiet time to speak to my daughter.
