Ansel Adams

Traveling with friends Ken and Judy, today (Saturday) we visited the North Carolina Museum of Art in Raleigh to see the Ansel Adams exhibit (56 of his most famous photographs); so impressive.  While there, we viewed a small photo exhibit by Mississippi native Eudora Whitley, photos from the early part of the 20th century depicting life in the south, my favorite.  Also on exhibit was a large group of 15th Century paintings from Venice, hence the image above.

And dinner at "Irregardless Cafe".  Irregardess of the name, the Irregardless Cafe demands many return visits.

The paintings from Venice inspires the listening of Giovanni Gabrielli, brass music composed at the birthplace of antiphonal music.
