Capturing my Journey

5 Today

Pip and Rusty are 5 years old today. Cant believe it was that long ago they were tiny puppies born in the night whilst we watched on with worry. Shaw was and still is a super mum. So many memories. I love the picture or Pip telling her dad Moss secrets. And rusty with his blue eyes before they turned yellow. Just too many pictures to choose from.

An extremely busy day starting in the lambing field with an older ewe with twins and she doesnt like one of them and for a bit wasnt sure which one she doesnt like. Brought her into the shed and whislt i mucked out the pens in there Pip stood and stared at her which encourages her to defend her lambs instead of nudging them away. Then walked dogs. Then did ironing i meant to do the day before for the cottages.

Headed to cottages at 10.20am to find the folk hadnt even packed their cars. Its 10am departure. Had to tell them to leave so I could get cleaning. Cleaning for 5 hours straight with no break and I just got done when the next lot arrived. Husband had to do lambing and calving checks in between helping me.

Then another dog walk and more lambing checks followed by bath food and bed. Exhausted.
