Fade To Black...

Opuntia phaeacantha is a species of prickly pear cactus known by the common names tulip prickly pear and desert prickly pear. Several varieties of this particular species occur, and it also hybridizes easily with other prickly pears, making identification sometimes tricky. So I'm not absolutely positive about this one.  It's not one of mine, rather it is in my next door neighbor's backyard.  Thought I would mess around with it a little bit.
