Otford

Today we explored Otford and found picturesque churches, splendid medieval buildings (see extra),  a fine village pond, ruins of the Archbishop's palace dating back at least to 1086  and, according to the people of Otford the largest scale model of the solar system in the world. This is the sun.
PS,  I had asked Mr P to move away, but he did not go far enough and the sun was too bright for me to see that he was still in the picture studying his phone.
