Baslow

We've travelled up to Baslow in the Peak District for a few days. On the way we stopped off for lunch at The Rococo Gardens at Painswick in the Cotswolds, just lunch, we didn't go round the gardens. I've added a shot of the lovely stone buildings as an extra.

We've seen our first rain for weeks today, I don't know often we say something like that in the UK. On approaching our destination the day brightened up and we had a nice walk around the village and down to the River Derwent where my main blip was taken from the Old Bridge looking down river with St Anne's spire on the left. The bridge dates 1603 and I'm sure it will feature in a future blip when the sun's in a better position.

It has turned very chilly all of a sudden.
