Anzac Day saw us up well before the birds to attend the local dawn service. A beautiful dawn as the ode was read and we sang our National Anthem as well as Australia’s. Short addresses from school children and a serviceman, a couple of hymns and a prayer. The laying of wreaths and the placing of poppies as we remembered all those involved in war then and now.
Then off to the RSA for breakfast and a natter with friends and family before a walk and after lunch a nana nap.

I haven’t replied to any comments as getting ready for a trip away and need to leave the home front organised for Trev. More in a day or two
