Quod oculus meus videt

Storm Clouds, Teddesley Lock

I hadn't been to a meeting in Stafford for some time.  In fact it was long enough for developers to have built a brand new shopping precinct and multi storey car park on either side of the river!  I didn't think it was that long!

On the way back I made a slight detour as the skies were really atmospheric.  One minute dark brooding clouds and foreground sunlight, as in this picture.  At other times great cotton wool clouds set off by deep blue sky.  In fact I got the polarising filter out to intensify the colours even more.  In the end I chose the storm clouds because of the tree backlit in the distance.  It was one of those occasions when the lighting made the scene.
