Saving my toolips for you!

Just above Rockfield School in Oban is a large terraced triangular space between the wall of Hill Street and that of the footpath known as Taylor's Brae. In the past it's been used as a garden cum allotment, but it's been abandoned for some time. No doubt someone will try to get permission to build a house on it, though fortunately the access is terrible. There used to be a row of trees along the top, but like so many trees around Stumpsville, Argyll, they have all been cut down.

There are many ornamental plants still flowering away among the weeds, including a nice magnolia and these tulips, which come up happily every year. In late summer there's a good display of dahlias too!
