It's Wild!

See how sweet and tiny  the gunnera was last week - well it's now seriously on the move and it's wild! You could lose small children in there already. If one week I don't appear you know what's happened.
Some technical information:
* originally from south America
* it can grow up to 3m tall
* it's covered in ferocious spikes - stems & leaves
* the tall ferny looking things are the flowers, one flower made up of hundreds of tiny red ones
* there are also huge odd budlike things within the depths
* it loves a bit of bog
* it doesn't like frost
* its highly invasive
* you cant eat it
* every year it has to be cut down and covered in its own leaves
* you can almost watch it grow
* it still has a long way to go
* there was a chicken shed in the middle of this one

Thanks to Cailleach for continuing wildness.
