In Full Bloom

This clematis blooms profusely every year. This one covers the pergola in the back garden and another covers the front of the house. Amazing how rapidly they grow and from such tiny plants. If it wasn't cut back every year I think we would be smothered in it! Good to look out of the upstairs window and see this riot of pink.
Journey to and from Suffolk today visiting my mother. She is well at the moment but still looking very fragile.
