Abstract Thursday: Landscape

Ingeborg's challenge for the Abstract Thursday challenge this week was to take an abstract landscape shot.  I only had a short time at lunchtime to grab a quick shot.  I had originally intended this to be a very blurred effort. But in the end, after playing with it I came to the conclusion that it best suited a lighter degree of abstraction.  

To me it does have a satisfyingly dream like quality which was wholly absent from the original shot.  It was actually a rather dull grey lunchtime.  I was also rather surprised to see the man in his shirt sleeves to the right of the shot, as I felt that it was actually really quite cold at the time!
