Flower Friday 28: Chives

A shot of a chive flower with bud, not fully opened, taken this morning.  The chives are growing at the margins of our little pond, their feet very much under the water.  The yellow in the background is from the water buttercups growing nearby.

Today was the end of our financial year at work, part of the reason that it has been such a busy week for me.  Fortunately we now have a long weekend here in the UK with the May Day Bank Holiday on Monday. ..... and relax. :-)
