Red Admiral

Early start to get the car over to the garage for its annual service and then a trip to the local shops for a mini-shop to tide us over the weekend. Persuaded son number two to go over to the building society with us to sort out his savings accounts. It needed all three of us together at one time with passbooks and appropriate ID - not something easy to arrange. All done now though and should be much easier to manage in future. Picked up a washed, waxed, valeted and serviced car from the garage - good to get that sorted too.

Spent some time chasing butterflies on the buddleia in the front garden. All of a sudden it is busy with butterflies - red admirals mainly but also a few commas and tortoiseshells. The hoverflies are around too and some enterprising spiders have constructed huge webs around the bush too. Great to see some butterflies at last.
