A Crane Among the Flamingos

Spent a lovely afternoon at Jersey Zoo, (it's not Durrell anymore) with my Mum this afternoon. It was sheltered from the cool breeze and was quite warm when the sun came out.

This crowned crane was strutting his stuff amongst the flamingos which really unsettled them. They were making quite a lot of noise as he stretched and flapped his wings. I managed to get a few shots and this is definitely the best of them, SOCC. More photos on my Flickr if you're interested.
