Whatever is she doing????

I've been rolling around on the hilltops again in full Ninja, slash SAS Commando style today, but of course you understand :)

A visit to...... yes.... my very favourite wood of all time again today.  The wood that is Oxenber and Wharfe Wood, which peacefully flourishes on a hillock between Austwick and Feizor in the Yorkshire Dales.  If a wood was paradise.. it would be this one!  Carpets of wild primroses, orchids, celandines, wood sorrel and cowslips.  And do you know what... the bluebells weren't even flowering yet..... more pleasure to come!  The walk takes in the views of Ingleborough, Norber, the valleys and the dales, the stone walls, the hills, the hamlets, the little lanes, the barns, the fields filled with dandelions, the farmers herding their sheep... and oh there's a cafe half way round.. and a pub at the end...... I rest my case :)))

On another happy thought... any blippers going to Haworth for the 1940s weekend on Saturday 20th May??? :) x
