Worked at home this morning and then caught the train to Inverurie. It was the London train to Aberdeen. Freshers week starts this week-end so quite a few new students. The table I got had 8 empty champagne bottles in a carrier on it - on a train that left King's Cross at 10 this morning.

We got to Aberdeen just in time for the Inverurie connection. I had to stand and then it was a 25 minute walk back to the Port. I took some photos of the Don from the Bridge. How many times have I walked along there with my family?

It was good to see Ali. Can't remember the last time I saw her. Norman went babysitting and Ali and I caught up over rose, and magret de canard, beautifully cooked by my friend.
