Papaver cambricum

Papaver cambricum  or Meconopsis cambrica. Or Welsh poppy. Whichever name you choose they are just that perfect plant (in my opinion anyway!) which self sows enthusiastically but comes up in all the right places to set off its neighbours beautifully and never gets so ubiquitous that it becomes annoying.

Chores day - house and garden (although the latter is much easier to get excited about). Then podsols, gleys, rendzinas and brown earths.
