Staying in the Kiez

I had a conference call at 9 am and it was ok. Neil was in bed suffering still and I went through the call, closed my laptop again and went for another snooze.
I had a Hairdresser's appointment at 2 pm. It was a bit odd as this was my first appointment since I stopped washing my hair with soap products last August. However the hairdresser was totally fine with it. He thought my hair was in great condition and he does also try to get the clients to wash their hair less in order to let it use it's natural cleaning process and not irritate the skin daily.
Without all the usual washing I had the quickest haircut ever and it looked good!
Out again I looked for Neil. He in return was not looking good. Lip swollen and not in a good state.
We went back home and Neil went back to bed. I phoned the dentist who suggested to come back and see the doctor. Neil preferred staying in ...
I had late breakfast and strolled through the Kiez. There is so much on Bergmann Strasse I have not explored yet.
I ended up in Denise's shop (City Market) and tried some summer dresses. I bought the 50ies style dress in the middle of the extra!
Denise also told me that Anke is ok and she phoned me in the afternoon. So I got the whole story and we will hopefully be meeting her before the weekend.
I went for a quick coffee at Cuccuma and got some strawberries at the market hall. I intend to have them decadently with mascarpone!
I was back home after 8 pm and Neil was up. Still feeling terrible and badly swollen up!
I wish I had dragged him to the doctor!
Will have to do that tomorrow now.
We had some food. The strawberries were wonderful!!
Neil was back in bed shortly after.

Main photo is one of he lovely restaurants on Bergmannstrasse. They are specialised in Turkish style mezze and small dishes. I have never been in as Neil is too fussy and does not eat most of what they have. I need to go on my own some time.
Extra is the shop window of the City Market. Love the dress but will not wear it with a petticoat ....
