Birthday flowers

The scent of freesias and roses greeted me when I came home today. I stood and enjoyed them for a few moments.

It's been a while since I did a full 5-day week. We've had Easter, Anzac Day, and a bit of leave thrown in for shifting and to extend Anzac into a 4-day weekend.

I'm glad it's the end of the week. I'll have a low-key evening with friends tonight and hopefully not fall asleep in their lounge ;-)
