Diary of an Edinburgher

Football!

Managed a visit to the gym today, but remind me - Sunday mornings are too busy. I'm so easily put off - if my little routine is upset by someone being on the machine I want next, I give up. And so I didn't last long this morning.

Kerri and Luke came to take Archie out. They haven't been for ages, and were worried that he'd forgotten them. No! He gave them a noisy welcome.

It was freezing cold out in the front garden, but the back garden, out of the wind and in the sun, was like a different country. The new(ish) neighbours have a wee girl, and use the back garden a lot. A paddling pool has been out all weekend, with an excited squealing child in it most of the time - not Archie's favourite.

However, this afternoon, the pool was finished with, so we took him out to play with his beloved footballs. The neighbours came out to empty the pool, and Archie was really good, didn't bark much at all. The wee girl came out and he just watched her, no barking. Good boy. He has to learn to share his back garden.

Roast dinner tonight. But no Line of Duty. However, there are amazing box sets from different countries on All 4. Spin a French political drama, (how topical) is rather good.
