The Lost Sheep

Monday 8th May 2017 (1717)

Verger's service this morning followed by them treating me to a nice pub lunch. I called in at the church shop afterwards and found this lost sheep. "Not another cuddly toy!" do I hear you say? It's actually a child's backpack. With the straps at full stretch and a bit of contortion I can wear it on my back. It had to come home with me (it was a bargain!). I entertained people for half an hour by wearing it around the shop, no idea why they were all laughing at me. Just imagine the fun I can have with the children leading into the story of the lost sheep if I have it on my back and say I've lost my sheep - "he's behind you" etc etc. 

Before you ask its name, it is Laaambeeert.
