Hostas

Back to hostas again. They'll be fully unfurled soon, now that the warmer weather seems to be on its way. So just time to catch them while they look like a nest full of baby birds, begging for food. I had a job holding the camera steady - it's harder than it was when I was younger. Using a tripod seems like a bit of a faff with my little LX3, but I suppose if you want sharp...

I had a go with a Nikon DSLR yesterday and rediscovered what a pleasure it is to have an optical viewfinder. I'm not sure whether I'll go down that road though. I've been thinking about getting a bridge camera, as they seem to be very versatile, if not necessarily outstanding in any particular area.
