A concrete love affair

Tay Bridge Twilight

Don't think il ever tire of this remarkable view from Newport to Dundee across the River Tay!

And a remarkable end to a remarkable day... Which began in Perth with a visit to the city's Polish War Graves, and how beautiful and well looked after they are. It was the first of many Polish connections we were to discover..

Onwards through Fife's beautiful interior through Cupar and on to Anstruther where I could reunite with my beloved view...
Towards the Isle of May

To Crail where we discovered one of Ian's favourite artists was playing later on, so we actually ended up doing Anstruther (for its famous fish n' chips) and Crail twice today!

More Polish WWII heritage at Tentsmuir with the remains of a camp deep in the woods followed by the concrete sea defences I discovered back in December, it was an all to brief a visit...

Before returning back to Crail we drove to the far east tip of the East Neuk at Fife Ness where you can look north towards Aberdeenshire and south to Borders all at one spot.. And yes more Polish WWII heritage in the form of an airbase, with many many buildings still present.

Finally to Newport... and onwards to Dundee for a few beers...
