Big Buddha

On the list of sight-seeing today was the Big Buddha. We had to go up the long way, on the bus, as the cable cars are still under maintenance, till June.

Scorcher of a day but lovely blue skies and pleasant breeze. Cousins were melting having come from a Canadian spring, which is quite cold.

I did not climb the gazillion steps to the Buddha as that would mean climbing them down, and my knee wouldn't have liked that much at all.

I have enjoyed this tourist attraction with a few special blippers, so happy memories for me.

We did want to go to Tai O after, but we were all over-heating by then and the wait for the bus was too long.

Back to Tung Chung and a quick look through the outlet mall.
