Waterfall near Ben More, Mull. It may have been warmer water than that coming from the single tap in the Youth Hostel's washroom. Head was numbed somewhat in the morning, after sticking it in the sink to wash my hair. Sure that (solitary) tap was supplied from straight off the hill. No showers. Other washed bits were also chilled...

Explored the woods to the South of Tobermory in the morning, and came across an overgrown walled garden, and a former mini hydro-electric generator in a (now) roofless building. Later went along to where Dad and my older brother and I had camped on my first visit to the island - way back in 1976. First bird seen was a Great Northern Diver. Attempts to get a photo of it just wasted film. The distant speck wasn't magnified much by a 135mm lens. There were a few in Loch na Keal.

Tobermory was very busy until late in the afternoon, and almost suddenly became near deserted. It was weird. Has something happened? Or is there some event on somewhere? I queried one of the few locals about, who laughed at my confusion, and slight concerns. "They're all away on the last ferry, as they don't run on Sunday."

A walk through the woods to the North of Tobermory in the evening, like the previous evening.
