Life in Sunny Dubai

Light and breezy

The first person who can put those lyrics to the song they come from gets a fav. ;)

Got back to The Mall this afternoon for their "Grand Opening". They had a few things planned, and as they have quite a large music shop, there were lots of different musicians playing different instruments and styles.

We headed up to The Hutch to have a cup of tea/coffee. They were chosen to host the VIP's so our normal seating area was closed off. We sat in a different part of the cafe today. Glad we got to see it as it was most pleasant. On the left, the large window you see leads out to a covered terrace, which because of the time of the day, had a lovely strong breeze.

We sat indoors though, and tried the karak (spiced) tea today. It was superb; possibly one of the best we've ever had and it wasn't too sweet. Definitely five star! :D  And as we had been asked to change tables, the manager let us have our tea and cake on the house! A lovely gesture, and such a surprise.

We had a good look around the music shop before leaving and G saw a 4 Chord Ukulele Songbook which has some brilliant old and new songs in it. Can't wait to give it a go.

Later, we had a very lively bible study, so much so, we didn't get home until around 9:45. Having a snack and even more cake to celebrate a birthday may have contributed to that.

It's into the next day so good night! :)
