Blazing

This is the brightest thing in a dreary day of wind, rain and hill cloud. After a dry fortnight and day after day of blue, sunny skies this weather is needed but at the same time unwelcome. However, this azalea bush probably reached optimum brightness today; it's grown to fill the entire bed of which it was the centrepiece and is such a feature that it appears on Google Earth, showing that it was May when the satellite photos of our area were taken.
