Mr & Mrs Shy Have Their Wings Full .

Mr & Mrs Shy are first time gosling parents and they have a huge family .Thirteen goslings in all and here you see twelve of them in the middle of a drama .They went though the lock gates of the Rochdale Canal but had problems swimming back against the force of the rushing water . Parents called and for most it worked .Three had problems .Eventually one and that was exhausted .Great that I had my Putting on the Ritz Walking Stick The handle was ideal for helping the tiny one through .John and Mary are still "pounding the beat"..
Richard is nowhere to be seen but goslings and geese are everywhere .Lovely evening and it feels good to be back :
