Taken on my return visit to see my mum - I got half way home and realised that there was one form that I forgotten to ask her to sign! So a day for sorting out paper work and not an owl in sight!

She lives in the houses that you can just see on the right of the photo - it's the countryside in which I grew up!

I wanted to say how overwhelmed I was with your responses to my Owl blip yesterday - thank you all for being so generous. In almost two years I've never had an image that has been so warmly received ... and yes I was very pleased with it.
