The Courts NT (Tuesday 16th May 2017)

It had been a while since I'd visited The Courts gardens in Holt. When I arrived it was raining heavily, giving me the opportunity to indulge in a wickedly unhealthy strawberry and chocolate cream cake with a cafetière in the Rose Tea Rooms there. I felt I deserved it as the last few days had been quite stressful for domestic reasons. The rain was stopping as I left the tea rooms leaving all the plants looking lush and covered in raindrops, including some water-lilies.
I photographed a shrub with tiny flowers as a potential Tiny Tuesday blip, but as I am still playing catch-up it is no longer Tuesday and so I have chosen a more general landscape of a part of the gardens.
