May bug

I had four of these really quite chunky beetles in my moth trap the other day.
The May bug or Cockchafer Melolontha melolontha is the largest and most conspicuous of the scarab beetles found in the UK, and despite it's large size is completely harmless.
They fly at night and are attracted to light, which is why they are often caught in moth traps.
Personally I think they are rather sweet, but I might be odd!
