A morning in the office then a prompt departure to get home, finalise packing then drive to Northampton for a family wedding tomorrow.

Apart from the regular section on the M6 with crawling traffic, adding some 45 minutes to the 6+ hour drive, the journey was not too bad. The countryside looked in good form with fields full of sizeable lambs.

To this timescale has to be added comfort breaks.  At one stop there was a coffee shop which had an outside sitting area with specially designed enclosing railings - something I'd not seen before.

Into the hotel some time after 8, bite of food then snooze time!
