DERELICT SUNDAY - ON SATURDAY

We met up with our usual set of Saturday morning friends at Jack’s café this morning - not quite sure if they will still be in business by the time we get back as our friends are away next week for two weeks!

When we left, we decided to go and look for some dereliction, and found this at the back of a small industrial park not too far away.  There is plenty of other stuff just like this, so I think we will be back - but of course, this is more junk (old or discarded articles that are considered useless or of little value) than derelict (in very poor condition as a result of disuse and neglect), but it fits in well with the challenge.

Moving from the sublime to the ridiculous, we were quite near to the BMW garage, in fact, it was just over the road, so decided we would go in and have a look at the cars - we wandered round and despite at least three salesmen sitting at their desks and not appearing to be doing very much, not one of them came up and asked if we needed any help - perhaps we don’t look like your average BMW owners - whatever they look like -  ah well, that’s saved a bit of money!

Mr. HCB is out cutting the grass in between showers - not quite sure what the weathermen are saying about next week, but we are looking forward to seeing the sea again, albeit in a different part of the country - and I’m sure there might even be a Devon Cream Tea somewhere during the week.
