A round trip today to my flat, to make sure everything there is okay. My upstairs neighbour told me she'd had a road accident a couple of days ago. Her car's a write-off, but thankfully she and her three elderly friends are all relatively unscathed. Apart from that, all seems to be well in Chesham including - amazingly - my handful of house plants, which don't get very frequent attention at the moment.

Mum has had these African Violets for years, but they became a bit neglected as her pain increased a few months ago and began to look rather sorry for themselves. I've taken over looking after them and now they're producing lots of buds and beautiful velvet flowers.
