...is the wild turkey

back for another visit

but this time - without his (or her) mate - i don't know how to tell the difference between genders - anyhow just as i was getting ready to post something entirely different from this shot - i heard a strange noise outside my living room window - going to check it out what greeted me was this sight - 1 wild turkey doing a balancing act on the railing - but without the mate who was along the other day - and he was making this very distressing noise - as i glanced out the blinds - i was noticed by him which caused him to think i was going - to produce said mate for him - because he then proceeded to leap off the railing - to attempt and gain access to the building - needless to say, unsuccessfully - poor thing - of course i felt bad for him as he continued to strut around - on the walk for a while looking for his mate

i managed to get a few more shots - but this one was the best i thought as he was coming off the rail - it's straight out of the camera - no fussing with it today - i didn't see a need as sometimes it's just not necessary - the picture in and of itself is enough to make for...
