Famous Tree

I organised this weekend in the Yorkshire Dales for Hertfordshire Girlguiding and unsurprisingly a few Scouters came along too. Yesterday Mark lead four on some training on Ingleborough but today I lead the whole group on Whernside.

The weather improved throughout the day so the famous trees at Twisleton Scar End were captured at the end. Thornton Force was also photogenic, as was the Ribblehead Viaduct, so I have several shots to choose from.

Apart from Rebecca falling on her wrist again, it was a lovely day out. Everyone was happy with our two days walking and they are already booking the next one. new leaders in the making.
