Boo!

Best day's weather of the holiday so far, so we headed for the Farne Islands.  It was markedly colder on the boat and Staple Island, but little could dampen my enjoyment of seeing puffins again.  I (only) took 671 shots during the three hour period of the trip.  I could have felt somewhat inadequate with the array of exotic lenses being paraded by other photographers on the island, but now I've reviewed the images, I don't feel too bad.

I went for the comedy moment, the puffin on the right having just landed next to his mate.  I've consigned other images to Flickr (https://www.flickr.com/gp/staffswayinmay/KJ0260) as it was difficult to choose just two or three extras.
